On May 9, 1997 we were blessed to have our second daughter born at 5:01 pm CDT! She came 12 days late, but we decided to keep her anyway! She weighed in at a whopping 9 POUNDS and 6 OUNCES! And is 21 inches long. She looks alot like her older sister did, so we are sure that we have a "keeper"!

I have to say "THANKS!" to all those family and friends who sent well wishes during and after this wonderful time for us!

My name is Steve DeBruyn and Julie is my wife and we have two daughters.

We live in the Des Moines, Iowa metro area and have lived here for all of our nearly 12 married years. I am originally from Iowa City, Iowa(Home of the University of Iowa) and Julie is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa(Home of Kirkwood Community College, where we first met).

We have been surfing the net since mid November of 1996 and love every minute(hour) of it! When we first got it we had a few sleepless nights and many nights with just a few hours of sleep! It was scary how much time we spent on this thing! By the way this "thing" is Webtv! Webtv is an internet appliance that has to be seen to believe!

I work at a Hy-Vee Food Storein the metro area. I have been with the company for over 18 years! Julie is a home daycare provider.

My interests are home theater and amateur radio. I am an Extra class license holder with the call KB0CFO.
